HOW YOU CAN PRAY FOR US
Christ is powerfully at work here in Uganda! The children and adults we are working with are so amazing yet they have gone through so much evil in their lives. Satan would love to claim them and is fighting us at every turn. We are imperfect people and we need your prayer on a daily basis, we are dependent on it! If you would like to receive ministry updates including how to pray for us, our ministry and the people we are serving just send us an email to add you to our list!
Pray for our school and kiddos
We are so grateful to God that in January, 2022 we were able to open our school!
- Pray for our students that they will learn English quickly
- Pray for our teachers that God will give them patience, wisdom and skill as they teach.
- Pray for God to continue to provide for the financial provision of our school and students
- Pray for trust to be formed between parents and API staff.
- Pray for safety for our children as they walk the long distance to and from school
Pray for the mending of reconciled families.
God through API has resettled over 100 children off of the street and back with biological family members
- Pray for permanency in these resettlements. That the children would be tempted to run back to the streets.
- Pray for healing from trauma experienced on the streets.
- Pray for financial stability for these families. Almost all of them are severely impoverished.
- Pray for trust to be formed between parents and API staff.
- Pray for discipleship opportunities with both the parents and children.
- Ultimately, pray that God would call these parents and children to himself.
- Pray that these boys would become men of God.
Pray for the women in our empowerment programs for...
- Pray for their health and safety of our families
- Pray that God will move in hearts and minds throughout our District.
- Pray that people will come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior and turn away from all other gods
- Please pray for peace within households
- Pray for the safety of women and children
- Pray that God will give people the courage and strength to overcome addictions
- Pray that God will provide for people's physical needs
- Please pray for good crops and for wholesale buyers to buy them at a good price
Pray for our staff.
Working with traumatized children is a difficult and draining job, but also a high privilege.
- Pray for unity among our staff.
- Pray for wisdom as our staff mentors current and former street children.
- Pray for protection of our staff.
- Pray for perseverance of our staff during the difficulties of ministry.
- Pray that God would continue to make our staff more like Himself.
Pray for the advancement of the Gospel through our staff.
In all we do, our motivation is to see the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
